Closeout Audit

Pickup is where the customer decides whether the visit felt organized. Suite closeout is how you make sure the final handoff matches the work, approvals, notes, payment path, and customer promise.

Lesson Objective

Use a final Suite audit before ready-for-pickup so cashier, advisor, customer, and manager are all working from a clean RO.

Before Marking Ready

Pickup Word Track

Simple Closeout

"Mrs. Carter, your vehicle is ready. We completed the front brakes and brake fluid service you approved. Rear brakes are documented for next visit, just like we discussed. Total is right where we reviewed it, and the cashier has everything ready."

Manager Audit

Managers should spot-check Suite closeout with five questions:

  1. Can I tell what the customer came in for?
  2. Can I tell what was found?
  3. Can I tell what was approved and declined?
  4. Can I tell who contacted the customer and when?
  5. Can the cashier finish the handoff without calling the advisor back?
If the answer is no

Coach the missing Suite step, not just the person. Most closeout problems are earlier workflow problems finally showing up at pickup.

The Dyer Standard

The RO is not ready just because the vehicle is done. The RO is ready when the customer handoff is clean.
